During the Chocolate Festival Amsterdam, you can join in depth masterclasses where chefs, chocolatemakers and beverage specialists take you inside their craft and into the world of cacao and chocolate.

A masterclass ticket only gives you access to the masterclass.

You also need a festival ticket (entrance ticket). Without an entrance ticket, you cannot participate in a tasting.

Tastings can be booked in advance online or on-site – but beware: full = full.

Reinventing the view on Hot Chocolate
Hot chocolate is world-renowned as a treat, something warm you share together. At MOCA, we want to bring that feeling to the Netherlands, but in a different way than we’re used to. When we speak about hot chocolate in the Netherlands, most of us don’t even say “hot chocolate”, we tend to say Chocomel. During this masterclass, we’ll show you what real drinking chocolate is, how to make it truly special, and how you can elevate it with new ingredients, textures, and flavour combinations.

CRIME SCENE: Chocolate Gelato & Sorbet
Why is couverture essential for true chocolate flavor? And how do you combine chocolate with fruit and dairy products without compromising flavor? This masterclass focuses on the craft.
You will gain insight into: sorbet, milk chocolate gelato and stracciatella, combining chocolate origins with fruit and dairy, culinary techniques behind taste and texture.
